In collaboration with DVCode Technologies, Openguild, and Polkadot, the College of Information and Communication Technology San Isidro campus (CICT-SIC) joined the launching of Blockchain Research and Development Bootcamp, yesterday at the TechnoHub, Sumacab Campus.
Ms. Glenda Gazzingan together with three selected CICT representatives Joshtine Nel Tubon, Ezekiel Santiago, and Ramir Lacanlale engaged in this initiative.
A total of 55 participants from different campuses, including CICT students from SIC, alongside five guests participated in this bootcamp.
The training sessions featured blockchain programming as well as its applications in research, curriculum development, and institutional innovation.
Vice President for Research, Extension and Training, Dr. Jean Guillasper, faculty, and students also attended the session.
The said program will continue on October 11 and 18 through online sessions, aiming to elevate the university digitally.
